It's been a crazy two weeks, but we're finally moved and unpacked and open for business.   Well, mostly......   

If we actually had internet service (like the phone company promised) and we had our phones sorted out (like the same company promised us),  I would be in better humor (and if you're listening, phone company, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!!!!!).

Here's a first look at our new shop.    Not all of our spring merchandise has arrived yet, but it's coming.....and when it gets here, the place will look a little more filled! 

Yes, both our stores are moving.    The Silver Puffin is moving to 43 Broad Street, Charleston (down the street and around the corner from where we are now) and Bartons is now morphing into Bartons Toys and is moving to 728 S. Shelmore Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant (across the bridge from downtown).   

We know we're excited, but what does that mean for you?    Why, a moving sale, of course!

We've just had news from Penzo about their plans for the new year. 

First, they are discontinuing several Penelope Penzo shapes such as the square dinner and luncheon plates, pasta bowls, dessert bowls, small jugs and the lovely wine carafe which can be used as a vase.  We might still be able to sneak in a final order if there is anything that you need to complete your service, so do let us know as soon as possible!!  Secondly, there will be a price increase in their Penelope Penzo line in March.  This means that the pieces you see on our website (and in our store) will not change, but you will see some increases once new product arrives.   If you're thinking of picking up that special piece.........
