Handmade from fused stained glass, this suncatcher is a great attention getter, especially because it is the smaller version of the larger puffin head suncatcher. It shines brightly in the beaming sunlight giving off a magnificent array of colors. It comes in two different versions: one is the silhouette of a puffin head, and the other is a round version of the same silhouette with a clear glass background. Both versions are created by Sharon Laska in Nova Scotia - where they really know puffins. These suncatchers can be great hanging in a room where there is a lot of sunlight so it can brighten up a room or it can be hung on a porch. The outline of the puffin head stands approximately three and a half inches tall and the round puffin head with the clear background stands nearly four inches tall. As an added feature, both items come with an artist card which has precise details about the artist and her work.
