Penelope Penzo ceramics are all handmade in Zimbabwe. Each piece is one of a kind. This particular piece is the 9" platter. Penzo is great because it is completely functional as well as decorative because they are microwave and dishwasher friendly. This small platter is 9.25 inches long and 6.25" high. Use for salads, desserts, or pair this piece with a small bowl for serving small appetizers. A very sweet size.
This first platter is very cheerful. Victoria Falls is in the back right, and two zebra stand right in front of it. A little green monkey capers across the foreground and a pretty cape buffalo stands curiously on the left. Two more zebra walk in the background and a very large green giraffe stands very stately in the middle. A bird flies overhead and another bird walks under the zebra. The color of the sky is a pretty yellow, the rim is various shades of green with a semicircle black detailed design and very light colors throughout.
