These ceramics are all hand-painted in Zimbabwe; each piece is one-of-a-kind and is signed by the artist. All Penzo is dishwasher and microwave friendly! All the bowls are beautifully made with vibrant colors and impressive detailing. The deep snack bowl comes in several sizes - this is the smallest. It measures 3.5" deep and almost 6" across the top.
Our first bowl has a very pretty bright yellow sky. Victoria Falls crashes in the background behind this lion. Behind him stand some guinea fowl, a zebra mom and babe, an oryx and antelope and a cheetah peeking out between some trees being very sneaky. This area is particularly verdant and the foliage is quite dense. The top rim of the bowl is a pretty light marigold color, as is the inside of the bowl.
The second bowl features a beautiful dark turquoise elephant walking down the middle of a small stream. Behind him an oryx stands knee deep in the water and a golden-eyed cheetah stares at the viewer. A zebra is walking through the deep water and a lion looks like his is trying to swipe at the elephant walking by - not a good idea. The sky is a pretty deep turquoise blue, as is the inside of the bowl.
Since all Penzo is hand-made by many individuals and no two are alike, the pictured bowl will be the exact piece you receive.
