This medium Open Handled Bowl is a brand new design from the Penelope Penzo studio. It measures a touch over 13" at its longest point and 4" deep at the lowest slop and 5.5" deep at the highest point. Each piece is handmade in Zimbabwe and signed by the artist. Each one is unique.
This beautiful bowl shows a lion pair, male and female, looking at the viewer. They look curious, but not particularly hungry. A pair of warthogs and a pair of cape buffalo stand all looking at the viewer. A pair of awkward looking giraffes are walking in the back. An oryx family is on the other side of the bowl, the male ahead, the female behind and being suckled by a babe. Meanwhile a cheetah cat stands on a broken tree branch, looking like he's about to pounce. A pair of birds also share his tree branch. The picture shows one side of the bowl and the inside which is a beautiful marigold yellow color and deep blue with black and white feathering design along the handle and rim.
