We fell in love with Darryl's pewter bowls because they bring back wonderful memories of carefree days by the ocean. The swirling eddies of the sea leave little pockets on the beach where creatures can get caught up before they wash back out on the tides. These pewter castings catch the swirling sand as it actually looks. You can almost feel the sand under your feet as you look at these bowls. Each of these pewter bowls are one of a kind, signed and accompanied by an artist card that includes care instructions. The first picture features a raised "white" starfish cast as the base. The base itself is not white, that's just the name of the starfish. These starfish are sometimes called finger starfish because of their long slender legs. There is a small cast starfish at the bottom of the bowl, as if caught in the swirling eddy. The top diameter of this bowl is 3.5" wide and it stands slightly over 1.5" tall.
These are a very pretty pair of bowls! Since each piece is one of a kind, you will receive the exact bowl that you order.
